Amy is excited to share her vision of art as an expression of peace. She brings a lifetime of artistic expression and over 14 years of ceramic experience to Orange County, North Carolina.
Amy's resume includes a Bachelor of Arts from UNC-CH, a ceramics degree from Haywood Community College, an apprenticeship under renowned potter Sarah Rolland and an artist-in-residence at Shigaraki Ceramic Institute in Japan.
From her studio Amy creates dramatic functional work including:

AGP and the Haywood Community College Alumni Show:
Amy and other Alum from Haywood Community College participated in a Alumni Show & Grand Opening of the new HCC Creative Arts Building on Friday, March 1st 2013.
AGP and the Animal Protection Society of Durham:
In 2012, AGP donated work for an auction for the SCPA society of Durham, NC.
AGP and the JDRF:
Amy Gelber Pottery joined forces with Cisco Systems, Inc. at the Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation Charity Ball and Auction in Raleigh, NC on October 24th, 2008.
AGP and Ceramic Peace:
In early 2007, Amy Gelber Pottery was honored to debut her sculptural series Ceramic Peace in the mountains of NC.
